Since meeting Marit 10 years ago, Patsy has never played so many polskas in her life, and with such an authority on the art form at close hand she felt brave enough to try and write one. Another polska enthusiast informed her it was actually like a springar, and so she spelt that wrong and the title was chosen. Unfortunate- ly Marit says it’s not like a springar at all but there you go. Incidentally, springar loosely translates as runner, with springa meaning run so we actually have Run like Marit, which is funny because she hates running. In a roundabout way the tune is called Don’t Run, which is advice we live by.
