Patsy learnt this tune from the wonderful Breton flute player Jean-Michel Veillon. With her teaching hat on, she has been known to encourage students to discover or ‘feel’ the unusual time signature by stepping the short and long beats around the room! It’s a wonderful pastime - you should try it and let us know what on earth the time signature is. Send your answers on a postcard.
